3. Eligibility

  • A valid Simracing.GP account is required.
  • Drivers must join the Club Formula hub on SGP.
  • Age requirement: 16+ (or as required by local law).
  • Drivers must own the relevant RSS car mods and Assetto Corsa base game.

4. Licences & Ranking

  • Licences (Bronze, Silver, Gold) are awarded automatically via Simracing.GP.
    • You can improve or lose your SGP driver licence level and score by participating in ranked races on SGP. Ranked races are races that have at least four (4) drivers on the grid and are eligible for licence changes.
    • You can improve your SGP driver licence level and score by completing more laps and avoiding more incidents in ranked races. The more corners you complete and the fewer incidents you have, the higher your licence score will be.
    • When your licence score reaches 8 or more and you have completed at least five ranked races at your current licence level, you will advance to the next licence level.
    • You can lose your SGP driver licence level and score by completing fewer corners and having more incidents in ranked races. The fewer corners you complete and the more incidents you have, the lower your licence score will be. When your licence score reaches 0 or less and you have completed at least five ranked races at your current licence level, you will drop to the previous licence level.
    • However, once you reach the Bronze level, you will not drop back to the Rookie level, even if your licence score reaches 0. The Bronze level will be the lowest level for experienced drivers.
  • Drivers are responsible for ensuring they meet the requirements before entering restricted events.
  • SGP rank is based on performance, incident-free racing, and activity.
    • Club Formula utilizes the Simracing.GP Pure Performance ranking system to assess driver skill and progression. This platform-wide system evaluates various factors, including race results, consistency, and clean driving, to provide an accurate representation of a driver’s performance.
    • The system is very different from ELO and will focus more on a driver’s average pace compared to others on the entire platform – rather than just the drivers you are racing against in a single event. That’s why sometimes a race winner can lose rank if their pace has been below par.

Key aspects of the ranking system:

  • Performance-Based Evaluation: Rankings are determined by analyzing race outcomes, driver consistency, and adherence to clean driving standards, rather than solely on wins or losses.
  • Dynamic Adjustments: The system accounts for variables such as track conditions and competition level, ensuring fair assessment across different racing scenarios.
  • Community Integration: Rankings contribute to both global standings and individual community leaderboards, allowing drivers to track their progress within Club Formula and the broader SGP platform.
  • Progression Requirements: Advancement through Club Formula tiers requires achieving specific rank thresholds, encouraging drivers to improve their skills and maintain consistent performance.

By participating in ranked events and focusing on clean, competitive racing, drivers can enhance their rankings and unlock higher tiers within Club Formula.

5. Behaviour & Driving Standards

Club Formula follows the official Simracing.GP Sporting Code, which can be found here.

All drivers are expected to:

  • Race respectfully and fairly.
  • Avoid contact and reckless driving.
  • Abide by track limits and SGP incident rules.
  • Accept post-race steward decisions.
  • Refrain from using any ‘exploits’ or ‘hacks’ designed to artificially improve the cars performance.

6. Stewarding & Penalties

  • All incidents are logged and reviewed via SGP’s standard stewarding tools.
  • Penalties may include time penalties, disqualification, rank deductions, or suspension.
  • Repeated unsporting behaviour may result in a ban from Club Formula events.
  • Deliberate and malicious actions may result in a ban from the entirety of Simracing.GP

7. Prizes

Prizes are supported by Moza Racing and will be awarded as follows:

7.1 Monthly Prizes

  • Most racing laps completed in CF4 and/or CF3 each month:
    Prize: TBC by Moza Racing

7.2 Championship Prizes

  • CF2 Champion every 6 weeks:
    Prize: TBC by Moza Racing
  • CF1 Champion every 6 weeks:

8. Mods & Content

All Club Formula events require specific Race Sim Studio (RSS) mods. These must be purchased and installed by each participant. Track content will be from official or verified community sources.

Links to all mods can be found on the ‘Mods’ tab of each event that you register for.

9. Schedule & Participation

Races will run weekly across all tiers at multiple time slots. Drivers may race as often as they wish.

Missed events or retirements do not affect licence status but may impact SGP ranking.

10. Updates & Amendments

These rules are subject to change. Any updates will be announced on the Club Formula Discord server.
