MOZA CRP Pedal Set Review

Final thoughts on the CRP pedal set from the guys at Moza Racing. Out of the box, these pedals have a clean, professional look and feel to them. I could find no defects as far as fit and
finish are concerned. The pedals are constructed from 5mm thick side plates that also incorporate a mounting flange. Pedal levers are CNC machined from billet aluminum that are 30mm square. There is some nice chamfering on the levers. Which is also found throughout the pedal set. All sensors on these pedals are of a contactless hall sensor design. Which should give long life cycles. These pedals did have enough adjustment options that allowed me to dial in settings that suited me well enough. Throttle travel is smooth and linear. Which allowed me to properly modulate the throttle where needed. The clutch pedal has a roller cam profile setup that gives the feel of pressing through the pressure plate spring in a real clutch pack. Although, as with most clutch pedals incorporating this feature, that feeling goes away when using my aggressive heel and toe technique. The brake pedal has a 100kg load cell mounted to it. There is a fair amount of adjustment range that should get most to where they need to be. I was able to get a setting that felt good enough to control the car in threshold breaking, but still left me wanting in the critical threshold to trail braking transition area. As do most all break pedals I have tested in the past. Just not something that is not easy to achieve for me. The brake pedals spring swapping process is easy to do. Something that cannot be said for the bumper replacement process. I found it a bit fiddly to get the hard bumper mounted in this system. Doable, but not something I would want to do often. Driving the CRP pedals was a good experience that most would like, I think. They feel stiff under foot with no perceivable flex when mounted to their surprisingly stiff pedal base. This provided me with good tactile feedback when working the pedals using my heel and toe technique. I was able to get very close to my usual lap times, even though the brake pedal felt a bit vague to me, transitioning from threshold to trail braking modes. The same as with most brake pedals I have tested in the past. Overall, at the price point, I think these pedals do a good job. And seem to be constructed in a way that should make them durable.
