MOZA Pit House 1.4.2 and Ultra Series firmware 1.2.12 are now officially available. After updating Pit House, owners of the R16 Ultra, R21 Ultra, and R25 Ultra True Torque wheelbases can follow the on-screen steps to log in to a MOZA account (or create one), update the wheelbase firmware to 1.2.12 or later, and unlock a free 2 Nm increase in maximum torque:
- R16 Ultra → 18 Nm
- R21 Ultra → 23 Nm
- R25 Ultra True Torque → 27 Nm
Once unlocked, the boost carries over to future firmware updates automatically (rolling back to an earlier firmware version may require unlocking it again).

Firmware versions 1.2.11 and 1.2.12 mainly optimize the motor's underlying parameters. Using comparative test data from precision instruments such as torque sensors, we determined the optimal motor response: force output is now more linear and controllable across the entire torque range, with a better balance between fine detail and high-torque output. In addition, a new Feel Style option replaces Feel Strength. Each style uses a different configuration of the underlying parameters to give the force feedback a distinct character, catering to preferences ranging from realistic, car-like damping to the clear, detailed feedback favored by esports drivers.
After updating the firmware, we recommend starting with Damping, Friction, and Inertia at their minimum values and the Road Sensitivity Equalizer at 100%. Then gradually increase Damping, lower the Road Sensitivity Equalizer, and adjust the other settings to find your preferred feel.
The recommended settings below apply to all three Ultra Series wheelbases:
