よくあるご質問

What is included with the HMA150 Haptic Motion System?

The four-actuator set includes four HMA150 Haptic Motion Actuators and the components required to build a four-actuator motion system.

For 40120 or 40160 profile rigs with a closed central rail, an additional HMA Profile Adapter Kit is required.

Will it fit my rig, and how much weight can it support?

The HMA150 is compatible with 4080, 40120, and 40160 European-standard aluminum profiles, as well as select branded profile rigs. The rig must be stable and firmly constructed, with all four actuators installed vertically, aligned at the same height, and used on a level floor. For best results, mounting the monitor on a separate stand is recommended.

The four-actuator system supports a maximum platform payload of 350 kg (772 lb). With a 250 kg payload, the published maximum performance figures are more than 1G of acceleration and 300 mm/s of speed. At the full 350 kg payload, the published figures are 0.45G and 150 mm/s.

These specifications represent the maximum performance limits of a four-actuator system.

Which games are compatible, and what if a game has no native telemetry?

The HMA150 works with supported simulation titles through MOZA Motion Manager. Official presets are available for compatible games and can be adjusted and saved to suit different vehicles and personal preferences.

For supported games without native telemetry, MOZA AI Motion analyzes gameplay visuals and audio in real time to generate matching motion and haptic effects. The current supported game list is available in MOZA Motion Manager and will continue to expand.

AI Motion currently requires:

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 with 8 GB VRAM or higher
  • NVIDIA Game Ready or Studio Driver 572.60 or later
  • 8 GB or more system memory

AMD graphics cards and Intel integrated or discrete graphics are not currently supported by AI Motion. These hardware requirements apply specifically to the AI Motion feature.

Is the HMA150 suitable for home use?

Yes. The system uses 48V low-voltage DC power and accepts 110–220V AC input. Rated power consumption for the four-actuator system is 1500 W.

In MOZA laboratory testing, operating noise remained at or below 55 dB at a distance of 1 meter under maximum speed and acceleration, and at or below 58 dB when using MOZA official racing presets.

No lubrication is required before first use. Lubrication should be reapplied every 6–12 months as needed, following the specifications and procedure in the user manual.

Is the HMA150 difficult to install and safe to operate?

The HMA150 uses bolt-on installation for compatible aluminum-profile rigs. After completing the hardware installation and cable connections, MOZA Motion Manager guides you through actuator port configuration, system self-check, automatic position calibration, system startup, and manual motion testing.

For first use, start with a lower motion range and intensity, then increase them gradually after confirming that the installation and motion directions are correct and that the cockpit, cables, monitor, and surrounding equipment have sufficient clearance.

The included E-Stop switch immediately stops all platform movement and holds the platform in its current position. Once the E-Stop is released, the platform lowers to the bottom before it can be restarted.

Built-in power-off slow-descent protection helps prevent the platform from dropping abruptly during a sudden power loss. Always keep hands, feet, cables, and loose objects away from the actuators and the area beneath the seat during operation.
