FAQs

Is the MA3X compatible with third-party flightstick bases?

Yes. The MA3X features a standard 5-pin aviation connector and is mechanically and electrically compatible with most third-party flight sim bases on the market. Check your base’s interface specs for confirmation.

How many input signals does the MA3X provide?

The side stick supports 12 programmable input signals, including an ALPS 8-way hat switch, a trigger, and a toggle switch, giving you plenty of control in both civilian and combat flight sims.

What materials are used in the construction?

The casing is made from ultra-rigid composite material, offering high strength and lightweight performance. The surface is treated with multi-layer spray and UV coating to mimic real aircraft resin for an authentic tactile feel.

What kind of switches are used?

The MA3X uses premium ALPS switches, known for their precision and durability. Each switch is rated for over 100,000 actuations, making it ideal for frequent use.

Is this stick plug-and-play on PC?

Yes. When used with MOZA bases, the MA3X is plug-and-play. When connecting to third-party bases, it may require basic mapping in your sim’s control settings.

Good!

I use it with Warthog base. So far so good, but I don’t know how to calibrate and assign the key to each button. The number of buttons on warthog stick or fighter jet stick is way to much than A3X. Thus, it leads to overlapping of some buttons.

Need left handed option.

This is obviously for Civilian airliner by the lack of buttons, so its unbelievable they have overlooked the need for a left handed stick.

Left hand version

Please make a left-hand version guys! The product is amazing and if there was a left-hand version people would buy.

So no left-hand stick for the time being...really?

I am wondering what led to the decision to develop a right-hand Airbus stick. Probably 80-90%, if not more, of the flight simmers fly Airbuses with the left-hand stick.
